READ LEARN NOW

BLOG

In my blog, you will learn about  best practices for teaching reading to students with developmental disabilities.

Please follow my blog to learn along with me!  I love to share my experiences with other resource teachers and student support teachers!

I know that we all learn best when we collaborate, and I invite you to comment on my posts and share your learning, too.

Let’s work together to become better teachers of reading for the students with the highest needs in our schools.

FOR PARENTS

If you are a parent of a child with or without a disability, who is struggling with learning to read, I invite you to go to my Parent Page, and to click on the various topics for information on how you can help your child improve their skills!  I also invite you to send me a message, if you would like additional support or information.  Click on “Get in Touch” to send me an email.

GET TO KNOW ME

I am a resource teacher whose focus is on supporting students with significant cognitive disabilites (SCD), and intellectual disabilities (ID).

I also support full classes of students, through working with teachers.  I often work alongside teachers in their classes.  I sometimes work with  small groups of students, or teach mini lessons to classes.  I meet with teachers frequently to find out how best I can support them.

REQUESTS FOR RESOURCES

I would love to hear from you, and I invite your feedback.  I also would love to help, by sending you resources that you might need, should you be  a resource / student support teacher, a classroom teacher, or a parent.  Click on “Get in Touch”, above, to send me an email.
